Field notes: Name your bucks

You know the deer on your cameras by sight: the split G2, the tall eight, the one with the drop tine. Now DECOHunt does too.

Give him a name

Open a buck’s visit on a trail camera and tap Name this buck. From then on, tag him on any visit with one tap. Named bucks are free on every plan, and on a shared map your party sees them too.

His page

Tap his name anywhere to open his page:

  • every camera he’s been on, on the map, with how many times,
  • the hours he moves, the winds he shows up on, and which way he’s headed,
  • how his visits change through the rut,
  • the sits where you saw him, and his points, age and notes for each season.

When you end a sit, pick the named bucks you saw. If you take one, pick him as your harvest and he’s marked taken.

Ask the AI about him by name. “When should I sit for the split G2 this weekend?” Now it reads your camera visits and named bucks along with your hunt log.
